This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Pukaar AI, developed by @prakarann innovation lab , as listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. It explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and safeguard personal data in accordance with:

● Apple App Store Review Guidelines
● India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and the SPDI Rules, 2011
● Industry-standard privacy practices

By using Pukaar AI, you agree to the practices described below. 

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information to provide app functionality, diagnostics, analytics, and service improvements.

1.1 Audio Data (Microphone Access)

We access your microphone to record and analyze baby cries.
We may collect:

● Raw audio recordings
● Metadata (duration, device info, timestamps)

Audio may be uploaded securely to our cloud servers (AWS, GCP, Azure) for cry analysis. Audio is never used for advertising.

1.2 Account & Contact Information

Collected directly from you:
● Name
● Phone number
● Email address
Used to create and manage your account.

1.3 Baby Profile Information

● Baby name
● Baby date of birth
Used for age-appropriate insights.

1.4 Health & Activity Information

Entered voluntarily:

● Symptoms
● Conditions
● Doctor notes
● Feeding, sleep, diaper logs
● Reminders
May be considered health information.

1.5 Uploaded Documents

You may upload:
● Prescriptions
● Medical reports
These files are stored securely.

1.6 Device & Technical Data

Automatically collected:
● Device model
● OS version
● App version
● IP address (for approximate location)

We do not collect precise GPS location.

1.7 Analytics, Diagnostics, and Event Data

We use trusted service providers:

● Firebase Analytics (events, device data, internal user ID)
● Firebase Crashlytics (crash logs, diagnostics, device info, internal user ID)
● Mixpanel (name, phone, email, internal UID, behavioral events)
● OneSignal (device token, notification tags)
● Microsoft Clarity (session replays, touch interactions, internal UID)
None of these providers use your data for their own purposes.

1.8 Advertising & Attribution (IDFA)

We use Meta and Google Ads SDKs for attribution and campaign measurement only.
No ads are shown inside the app.
If IDFA is accessed, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt is displayed.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 App Functionality

● Cry detection and analysis
● Generating personalized and age-appropriate insights
● Enabling reminders, logs, and tracking
● Account management

2.2 Analytics & Product Improvement

● Feature usage understanding
● App performance improvements
● Enhancing user experience

2.3 AI Model Training & Enhancement

We use de-identified and anonymized data to:

● Train, evaluate, and improve our AI models
● Enhance cry-analysis accuracy
● Improve insight generation
● Advance the safety and effectiveness of Pukaar AI

No personal identifiers (such as name, phone, email, baby profile, or internal user ID) are used in model training. All data used for AI improvement is irreversibly anonymized before entering any training or analysis pipeline.

2.4 Diagnostics & Security

● Detecting bugs and crashes
● Monitoring service stability
● Preventing misuse

2.5 Communication

● Notifications, alerts, updates
● Service-related messages
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.

3. How We Share Information

We share data only with contracted service providers such as:

● Firebase
● Mixpanel
● OneSignal
● Microsoft Clarity
● AWS, GCP, Azure cloud hosting

They act solely as processors and do not use your data for their own purposes.
Data may be shared if required by law. 

4. Data Retention & Deletion

4.1 Soft Delete Upon User Request

When a user requests deletion:

● The account is immediately disabled
● Personal data becomes inaccessible
● Data enters a soft delete state

4.2 Anonymization

Within a reasonable internal timeframe, we:

● Remove personal identifiers
● Remove internal user ID
● Remove phone, email, name
● Remove baby profile
● Remove IP and device identifiers
● Strip linkable metadata
Data becomes irreversibly anonymized.

4.3 Retention of Anonymized Data

We may retain anonymized datasets in perpetuity for:

● Research
● Statistical analysis
● AI model training
● Product improvement
These datasets cannot re-identify any individual.

5. Children’s Data

Pukaar AI is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children.

6. Your Rights

You may:

● Access your data
● Update or correct your data
● Request account deletion
● Withdraw permissions
Deletion requests should be sent to admin@prakarann.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards under Rule 8 of the IT Rules, including:

● Access restrictions
● Secure cloud infrastructure
● Regular audits
